I had a bit of a meltdown on twitter on Friday, and like the awesome people they are, the TGNA crew and some twitter friends all rounded up and we had an write-in by google hangout on Saturday. It was the first time I was able to write in about a month. Between my new job and some real life drama, I haven’t been able to produce anything creative. I’m so grateful that I’m finally able to work on this again, and in the spirit of keeping this feeling alive, I’m doing a moodboard to coincide with what I wrote this weekend. I know this looks a bit juxtaposed, but that’s the essence of the scene – they have a home together, but it’s never safe. I’m so glad I got to work on this scene, because it’s in more detail than it was in my original concept and gives a lot of insight into the relationship between my two main characters, Laurel and Fiver.
But as long as you are with me, there’s no place I rather be
We staked out on a mission to find our inner peace
Make it everlasting so nothing’s incomplete
It’s easy being with you, sacred simplicity
As long as we’re together, there’s no place I rather be
Know with all of your heart, you can’t shame me
When I am with you, there’s no place I rather be
Happy writing everyone!
